Thermostat Installation

Locate a suitable location for thermostst.

Check compatability of power source i.e. local ring main or new supply from local D.B.

Check loading of area to be heated a contactor may have to be fitted due to load if supply is taken from local ring main, depending on the loading of the mat.

Contact supplyer technical help desk if required.

Check insulation resistance of mat and measure the resistance before installation.

Check correct location of temperature sensor as per instruction booklet.

Once mats are layed out and in position check again the insulation resistance and measure the resistance before any other works commence i.e. tiling.

When tiling or other floor finish is complete check the insulation resistance and resistance of the mat, for any damage.

Connect the mats to the power source normally 24 hours after tiling.

Wire up the I warm thermostat paying particular attention to the instructions and attached leaflet making sure you do not damage the front of the LCD display when pushing back in to place when securing thermostat.

Program up as per instructions supplied with your thermostat.
